Well, in the book i imagine the dragon hold as a vast open area of rock, like a cave with the top removed. Then i imagine that if i look up i can see about 3 feet above my head and above for about 100 feet the walls pockmarked with caves of every size, from a cave barely big enough to hold a child (elf, hint hint wink wink) to a cave big enough to fit several full grown dragons. As for the movie, i think that the dragon hold is not depicted cleary, but correct me if i am wrong because it is almost my bedtime and i am too lazy :-) to go and pop eragon into the DVD player and watch it. The dragon's rider will probably be Arya or Roran. Personally, I think it will be Arya. Many fans believe the title will be "Empire". I suspect that either Murtagh will die, or something drastic will happen that changes his true name. Also, I think that the Vault of Souls is a chamber containing vast amounts of Eldunari (read third book). If Eragon speaks his name into it, then the Eldunari of the first Eragon (the elf)'s dragon will be there. Obviously, Eragon will fight Galbatorix and most likely kill the king.
Why dont people like the Eragon movie?
Different people have different tastes, likes and dislikes, in films, music, books etc. also, the movie was done rather badly. it cut out some major parts of the book, portrayed eragon, magic , saphirea(ect.) wrong. the "dwarves" weren't even short, im not sure if the meant for arya to still be an elf, because she didn't look it. the "urgals" had no horns, pretty much normal height, were horiible at combat, all of those are opposite of what the book said. and the props were terrible. the "egg" looked like a big jelly bean, the armor they show eragon for shaperia is a whole different set when she has it on. the swoards were cheap at the best. oh, and eragon just suddenly master everything brom teches him. oh, and the movie took place in about 4 or 5 days, the book was about 4 or 5 months at the least.
