Most times the satellite radio will use an anntena but if your car has a "AUX IN" or "LINE IN" you can purchase the Direct Wired Kit and use that to transfer the signal to your car.
actually you can. you can also put it in a radio if you have the right wires.
Buy one and hook the wires up and put it in the middle.
They all should be attached to a wiring harness un less your install a radio then not all wires will be attached to the after market harness in most cases the wires that are not attached can be used to hook up subwoofers
you have to bypass the amp that is in the trunk in the quarter panel and run wires from there to the front of the car where the new radio will stay not a fun car to work on
Amplifier instalation is the same as any-- power wire, ground wire, wires to subwoofer. The "tricky part is taping into existing wires to get the required input signal and the remote signal to switch the amp on and off.
Need to know what wires and which harness you speak of.
Yes.
where your tape player is in the middler of your dash replace that with your CD player and un hook the wires from your stock radio. I did the same think in my truck and it works fine.
Nope.
Replacing a car stereo is not a difficult process. All you need to do is take off the face plate, unscrew the radio, and unhook the wires. Then place the new stereo in, hook up the wires, screw the new stereo in, and replace the face plate.
on factory wire harnes, there are 5 speaker wires. 4 are (+). on speakers, but only one (-). when i hook up aftermarket head unit do i hook up all negative speaker wires together
Why would you need to hook up a digital converter to a satellite receiver ? Arn't they already digital ? stevecooper75@comcast.net
