There is a excellent veterinary college in Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Years ago, it was very difficult to get into veterinary colleges if you were not a resident in the state they were located. However, the veterinary colleges in the United States are taking a larger percentage of out of state students. It is both a blessing and a curse as out of state students may end up paying double the tuition compared to the state residents, but nonetheless you are in veterinary college which is your ultimate goal!
So as a Wisconsin resident, definitely apply to the University of Wisconsin College of Veterinary Medicine. The application process has become more centralized and you can apply easily to multiple veterinary colleges. If you do so, check each school to check the admission requirements as they may vary among the colleges. In addition to the centralized applications each college may require some specific supplemental information, essays, recommendations, etc. Be very thorough as you check the various colleges out and be sure you submit all the required materials.
Another option is that there are foreign veterinary colleges and some veterinary colleges in the Caribbean that can be applied to for admission. Once again check out the particulars.
