One of the largest labor unions of the United States between 1920 and 1930 was International Ladies Garment Workers Union. It started with purely female membership. It had many women who were vocal about the rights of women working in the textile industry, and one woman who stood out was Clara Lemlich.
International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union was created in 1900.
