Transparent
it means that the light in the window isnt green
Transparent means you can see through it. That's usually the purpose of a window, yes.
If something is transperent it means that u can see through it, and light can be able to pass through it. If a speach is transparent; it means it was made clearly and so easy for people to understand.
In your example, window probably means "a period of time when an opportunity was available." But because it's written in past tense, "you HAD a window," it means that the opportunity has passed. For example, if you are a man, and a woman tells you that you had a window after she broke up with her boyfriend, it means that you had a chance with her then but not anymore.
It actually means Light Emitting Diode. I hoped i helped :)
Opaque and transparent materials differ between the amount of light that passes through it. Opaque materials do not allow any light to pass through. Transparent materials allow all or most light through.
Transfer means to allow through (science-transmit e.g a window and light energy. the light energy is transmitted through) and so if the energy wasnt allowed through there wouldnt be a current or circuit because the energy would be lost i the amplifier
Window glass is transparent, which means that it allows light to pass through easily without distorting or scattering it. Translucent materials, on the other hand, allow some light to pass through but also scatter it, making objects on the other side appear blurred or fuzzy.
Romeo does not say this line to Juliet. He is hiding behind a bush in her backyard, hoping to get a glimpse of her. He knows that if he is found in her backyard he is dead meat. Suddenly, the curtains of one of the rooms part, and in the light from her room she steps out onto her balcony in her jammies. He is awestruck by her beauty, but he is not about to let on that he is there, in case she calls the security guards. To himself he says, "What light from yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun." and he settles down to eavesdrop on her.
Translucent means that light can pass through an object, but it is not completely transparent. This allows some light to pass through, but objects on the other side may not be clearly visible. Examples of translucent materials include frosted glass and wax paper.
When a green filter is passed through light, it selectively absorbs all colors of light except green. This means that only green light passes through the filter, while other colors are absorbed. The result is that the light appears green in color after passing through the filter.
Opaque means that light does not pass through, resulting in an object being not transparent. Translucent means that light is able to pass through, but the object is not fully transparent and scatters the light.
