Uranus is a called a Jovian Planet ( or a Giant Planet), like Neptune, Saturn, and
Jupiter. Uranus takes approximately 84 years to orbit the Sun. Uranus and Neptune
each have a mass about 15 times that of the earth and hence only 5% as great as
Jupiter. The giant planets atmospheres are composed primarily of hydrogen and helium
gas. On Uranus there is no oblivious cloud layer at all, but only a deep and featureless
haze. Unlike on Neptune where the upper clouds are made of methane. The most mass
on Uranus resides in it's core, demonstrating that the planet was unable to attract
massive quantities of Hydrogen and Helium when it was forming. Also there isn't a solid
surface on Uranus. There are drastic weather patterns on this planet, some of the
storms are bigger than our planet earth. So if you took a spaceship to Uranus you
would just go right through the planet because you would have no where to land and
if you ran into one of these monstrous storms you would definitely not return home.
No one really knows what life on Uranus would be like because Uranus is a gas giant with no real mantle or crust. The planet would have severe seasons and life would be very different than on the Earth.
mmmmmmm
like seventeen hours
People can visit Uranus if they want from inside or out side the spacecraft. However, you cannot walk or land on Uranus because it is completely made water, methane, and ammonia.
In 1986, NASA's Voyager 2 was the first and only probe to visit Uranus.
Three reasons that people should visit Uranus is because Uranus is a very beautiful and amazing planet, second it has 27 moons! And third of all where a mask because it is filled with gasses!
they would have to have some type of fur.....
That would be Uranus.
No a visit to Uranus sounds dangerous. Uranus is far from the sun, so it would be cold. There is a reason it is not habitable and earth is.
A spacesuit.
not yet. Even if one could do that it would have been impossible to drive on uranus because uranus is a gas giant with no solid surface to drive on!
no

Uranus's atmosphere is made up of many gases like Hydrogen, Heluim, and methane. Uranus does not have much if any oxygen so you would not be able to breathe.
Voyager 2 is the only spacecraft to visit Uranus.
1 pound on Uranus would be one spoon full on earth which would probably be like 1,000 pounds on earth!
The gas giants - and this includes Uranus - DON'T have a surface you might walk on.
