Probably laces, because when boys get even into the sixth grade, they start feeling to old for slip on shoes. They usually like Converse Or Chuck Taylor shoes, Nike tennis shoes or Reebok athletic shoes. Although they usually cost a lot, they last for a while and they usually like them for a while.
