What would be a good Pokemon assist on Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia?

One of the best ones that i have found is the steel pokeassist. as you draw a line, a metal ball forms. you then fling it at a Pokemon. if it hits, the Pokemon gains the paused status. it can still move around, but it can't attack. it will have the !, !!, or !!! sign appear, and will act like it's going to attack, but it won't. i beat rampardos by combining the steel assist with the fighting assist, which doubles your power. you can find both types in the valley were you fight rampardos. because i like the steel assist so much, i have a shieldon as my partner Pokemon. my other partners are pachirisu, kricketot, cranidos, turtwig, and croagunk. i am a top ranger. my name; kellyn. if you want to get most of the partner Pokemon i have, you have to accept quests.
