Names from mythology are often a good choice. For instance, Poseidon was the Greek God of water. There was also Triton, Hydros, Neptune, and Aegir.
Other ideas can come from what the fish look like, or how it behaves. Or you can name the fish after a loved one. Whatever you decide, try to be creative with it.
Any name you like is a good name ;)
Mocha
To my knowledge there is not a specialty name for a male Clown fish.
I have not heard of a general name meaning either a male or a female fish.
Bundle- That way, you could introduce them as "Betta Bundle".
Good thing about fish is they do not learn names, so changing the name would not affect the fish as it would a dog. If the name no longer applies (it lost it's spot) or you want to change it up, it would be fine to do so.
It is not in fact the male fish that has a special name, but the female. The proper term for female fish is fishie (not fishy, because being fishy is bad).
Purple fire fish is a common name of a type of goby not a sexual morph of a fish. Therefore there are both male and female purple fire fish.
For a female: Dorthey For a male: Zakki
It is called "milt".

If the fish is yours you may call it whatever name you wish.
