You can always chip in for a nice watch, or maybe even a pocket watch. If you think that is too cliche, You could always get gift cards to make it easier for him to pick something out.
Don't be late, dress proper, and get on the boss's good side!
Anything that assists the mother in raising her infant would make a good present to the new mother. That would be the mainstream train of thought running through most. Since the new mom will probably receive lots of that type of gift, what you should do is to buy something that would help the mom relax and have a good time. Good luck.
Good luck in your new ventrue
if you are at dinner with your boss and a new employee walk up how would you introduce that person to your boss
cause they like a boss
That depends. If you are already in another job, it is customary and courteous to give two weeks notice to your present employer and therefore you would put that you could start two weeks from being accepted. Some hiring agencies appreciate this when they hire you because it means you are ethical and will do the same for them. (sometimes a good company will let you go sooner than the two weeks if they like you and want to see you move up the ladder of responsibility and they see no reason to keep you for the two weeks. You would know this if you had talked to your boss about moving up and out, and he/she was supportive. If this is the case, put down that you can start within a week, if that is what you and your boss agreed to) If you are not presently in another job, you can put down that you can start immediately. The third option is that sometimes, when you and your present job and not getting along well, you might obtain permission from your present boss to take a new job as soon as possible. This is relatively rare, but has happened. In that case, you put down on the application that you can start as soon as the new boss contacts the old boss and discusses a starting date.

Well that would depend on your relationship with your boss. If your boss is a real jerk, or if you don't like him, I would check your company's policy on notice before quitting, after all, you don't want one of your future references to be a bad one. Then I would just flat out tell him why I'm leaving, why the job is better, (why working there was horrible if that applies). If you like your boss then I would sit down with him, apologize, and tell him why the new job will be good for you. Who knows? He might even offer you a better pay to keep you on. ;)

Open your email program, give the command to start a new message, select your boss as the destination, and start typing!I would say, try to give the reasons why you would need a laptop, or a new laptop.
The Leapfrog Leappad is a great present that would not only be fun for the child, but it could also help the child learn many new skills. Overall it would be a good toy for a child.
