'Gravictism'? (Formed from Gravity, Friction and Magnetism)
Gravity, friction lacks the shear power that gravity has and wouldn't stand a chance.
With a fixed mass, if you say double the acceleration due to gravity, you would have to double the force to overcome friction.
An example of two kinds of forces would be gravity and magnetism.
No. That would be friction.
Gravitational acceleration is a constant value for a celestial body, and doesn't depend on air resistance/friction. The value on Earth is constant anywhere on Earth, just like the value on Mars is constant anywhere on Mars. In practical, however, this is different. Air resistance lowers the value of gravitational acceleration.
Gravity? the strength of the floor?
Without gravity, and friction the race car would be flying everywhere and would slide off of the track.
Yes. Without sliding friction or rolling friction, we would not be able to walk. It is the relationship between gravity, friction, and mass.
What sort of attraction? Magnetism? Gravity? Sexual attraction? In the last case Aphrodite would be the one.
It isnt. Two different forces; gravity and magnetism. As for how gravity works; all objects have their own "gravity", the bigger they are, the more gravitational pull they have. Why gravity works; nobody knows or we would all have flying cars.
Gravity is a fundamental force that attracts objects towards each other, while friction is a force that opposes the relative motion of two surfaces in contact. The strength of gravity depends on the masses of the objects and the distance between them, while the strength of friction depends on the nature of the surfaces and the force pressing them together. In most everyday situations, gravity is generally weaker than friction.
There is no opposite to gravity, although the theoretical force would be antigravity.Friction only opposes gravity as air resistance, where molecular collisions impede acceleration and can produce a maximum or terminal velocity.
