In reality the negative effects of draining wetlands vastly outweighs any benefit you receive. You get habitat destruction for many endangers species, increased risk of flooding, and water becomes more polluted (wetlands help absorb and reduce pollution). That being said draining a wetland can provide some, very minimal, positive effects. First is it creates crop land, most wetland drainage in the US is to create new areas for farmers to grow crops. Secondly is disease control, there are a few water-borne diseases that can be found in wetland as well as mosquitoes that may carry them. However this is really not a benefit with modern medicine and mosquito control that we have.

Dictatorial control of the masses and exploitation of the people for the leaders. Answer this - What would be the positive effect of subjugating the citizens of America? The only positive effect would be detrimental to freedom and rights. Filopino individuals are just like Americans, they are bright, self-motivated, and proud. Their freedoms are important and subjugating would be unacceptable to them as it would be to you and me.
Dromotropic effect is the effect on conduction of current. It could be positive or negative depending on the final outcome. A negative dromotropic effect would mean decrease in conduction activity of current while positive would mean increase in conduction activity of current.
Most people would consider it having a negative effect
