Nothing can be all of those at once, but water can be all of those at different times.
liquid and gas because they both have an ability to flow
gas.
that is because they get the same temperatureAdded:It is either a liquid mixed in or solid dissolvedin a fluid (ink carrier) depending on the kind of ink.
The Archimedean Principle takes over. The weight of a body immersed in a fluis is equal to the weight of the fluid disoplaced. A solid will either float or sink , but it displaced the fluid. Sometimes the solid may absord the fluid, but there is still a displacement of fluid.
Grain of solid suspense in air or liquid stream would behave like a fluid, you will find many of these phenomenon using the key word "Fluidized Bed".
air is neither liquid or solid, it is a gas
Ice is a solid and water is a liquid, so an ice cube floating in a glass of water would be a solid in a liquid solution. Lava is molten rock, which would also be a solid in liquid solution.

its a liquid because if it were solid it would not come out the bottle
In the case of water (liquid) you would freeze it into ice (solid).
A liquid. It's a frozen liquid. It's like ice, it's frozen water. It melts in your mouth, so does ice cream.
I would say that jam should be considered in a state similar to a fluid at super critical conditions -where the critical fluid is showing both gas and liquid properties. What I'm saying is that it is neither a solid or liquid but shows both properties - in a sense jam doesn't know what it wants to be! The simple response would be yes it is a, very very very viscous, liquid. Thanks, Jamie.
