Victorian architecture is a mixture of Classical and Gothic elements combined in brick and steel structures. It ranges from severly practical railway arches, through comfortable family homes, to ornate town halls and splendid (if overdone) churches and cathedrals. It also included huge mills, factories, docks and barracks, as well as slums made up of endless rows of tiny brick terrace houses.
