bend long pipe cleaners to represent the spiral arms, and attach them to a Baseball, which represents the central bulge
I would say milky way, but that's just me. lolololol;;;
We are in the Milky Way galaxy.
No, the sun is one of the most important parts of the milky way. If the milky way didn’t have a sun than are universe would not currently be in existenc. The sun would have already exploded if it was not part of the Milky Way .
Milky way.
The better question would be: Where is our Sun in relation to the Milky Way? Our Sun is located on one of the Milky Way's spirals, about halfway.
All of our Solar System is inside the Milky Way. To get outside the Milky Way, you would have to travel several tens of thousands of light-years.
yup
Because the distance across the Milky Way would be 588,000,000,000,000,000 miles.
There isn't one. really. If there is a difference, you could say that the Milky Way is the milky band of light as seen from Earth, whereas the Milky Way Galaxy is the whole galaxy, which includes those bit's we cannot see from Earth. Best to just accept they are one and the same.
The Milky Way can be seen in the night sky throughout the year. At any one point in time, at least part of the Milky Way will be visible in the night sky. The centre of the Milky Way can be best viewed from the southern hemisphere, and the outer arm (the Perseus Arm) is best seen from the northern hemisphere.
there is exactly one milky way galaxy in our universe (why would there be two galaxies with the same name?)
There no milky way in sky there is only milky way galaxy
