Really-low-pitched tornado sirens....maybe.

If it was too scary to watch it would have never made it to theatres, because no one would be able to withstand sitting through it.

Why would anyone wish to prevent someone from expressing themselves via a scary movie? If movies are too scary for you, stay home. I don't see why my choices have to be limited because you are frightened.
scary scary scary scary scary
Yes, I think Dead Silence would be too scary for most 9 to 11-year-old kids. It might be okay for kids who have seen a lot of horror movies already and have been able to handle them, but for most kids, it would probably be too intense. It's not such a great movie -- meaning, not many adults would find it scary -- but it would probably give a child nightmares, or make them afraid to sleep with the lights off.
If I were the author of a scary book, I would change the scariness, because I have nightmares from scary stories.
I have played it and in my opinion it wasn't too scary, but depends on the person.
Your question is too opinionated, i.e. some people thinkit is scary, while others do not.
no not at all.gets ya stomach a bit but not scary and a good ride too.
It's actually not scary at all. Mostly just intense.
