No spark?
You cant flood a fuel injected vehicle. It would be something else making it not start. It could be a bad fuel pump or spark plugs. Anything to do with the ignition. Distributorless pack, where all the wires plug into. Also hard starting problems are sometimes the result of an improper starting technique on the part of the driver. On a fuel injected engine, DO NOT push or pump the gas pedal when trying to start the engine. This just puts the engine into the Clear Flood mode, which will cut off fuel to the engine temporarily making it even harder to start. Just crank the engine without touching the gas pedal.
Let it set for about 2 hours or push the accelerator pedal to the floor and hold it there while turning the engine over. Rarely do fuel injected engines flood. If they do then something is wrong with the firing system.
Gas lines cannot flood they are supposed to be full of gas
it would depend if the car is carburated, or fuel injected... if it is carburated it can flood the motor (if this happens just give it about 20 mins and try and start it again), if it is fuel injected nothing will happen.
Hold your gas pedal all the way to the floor while trying to start the vehicle.
This is a fuel injected vehicle. if you touch the gas pedal to start it you could flood it. Maybe your wife starts it without touching gas pedal.
Hard starting, corrosion at terminals, eventually cause a weak charge on the battery from cranking too much, will not start at all, can cause your carburetor to flood.
If your engine is fuel injected, do NOT press on the gas peddle while trying to start it. If you aren't doing that, then it's quite likely your electric fuel pump is beginning to fail and you'd better have it checked or replaced before it leaves you in the middle of no where. Ron
You have got to tell me which flood you are talking about.
It could be out of gas.
sh**
when your trying to start it try flooring the gas pedal, i know its fuel injected and not carbonated but there is a natural choke when trying to turn over, im only 18 and might not know what im talking about but it works for my 93 mazda mx3
