This is called Othrostatic Hypotension.

I have this. This all started long before I started stretching in the way I do. When I was about 14 and 15 I used to stand up and pass out. My mum never thought anything of it & she still doesn't.

Sometimes I stretch & feel dizzy, the room starts moving, my hearing goes away & I start to lose my balance. My head feels so heavy & so does my chest. Pretty much my entire upper body feels so heavy that the only way to go is down from the extreme force I feel pulling and even pushing me down. My knees might buckle then my body follows or I might just fall down like a tower and then there are times when I can control myself from falling down although sometimes the best thing just seems to be to fall, becaus eit takes too much of my energy trying to hold myself up. This is why I would usually fall on my hands & knees if I have fought to stay up, but given up. Also I seem to be passing out with my eyes wide open, but staring ever blankly into nothing. My heart wil be pounding so hard & sometimes my head will be pouding & hurting too. I sometimes have mini fits sort of like mini sezuires & that freaks me out. I sometimes sto breathing as well all of this in one episode.

Just yesterday I woke up from the sofa & stood up to stretch & the next thing I remember was getting up from the floor. I heard my friend calling outmy name & asking me if I was ok. That brought me round even though my eyes were wide open I was not registering as being awake or alive. I was so far gone & so numb. The worst thing about all of this is I could not at all remember how & when I got on the floor. I enquired of my friend as to what happened & she explained that I was stratching & I collapsed. I cannot remember the part between the stretching & coming round on the floor at all as much as I have tried to remember.

Does anyone else have nearly as many issues attached to this as I do or even more? I would really like to know, because I feel like this is dangerous now.

Too much exertion can cause the heart to beat so fast that it doesn't pump as much volume of blood as it should. This can cause dizziness and possibly even unconsciousness. It can be serious and no one should be stressing themselves to such a degree as passing out. If someone is getting dizzy while doing just light exercise, there may be an underlying health problem. A check up at the doctor is in order.
