issue with common ground.
Answer 1 - Fuse Panel FireThe cause is/was a "SHORT CIRCUIT" condition on the "incoming" [from the battery] side of the fuse panel.
Yes, in the fuse panel. Open and read your owner's manual.
fuse to the dash gone ???
Check the fuse box. Usually the lighter, dash panel and sunroof are on the same fuse. But they might be on different. Anyway it looks like a typical fuse problem.
I'm not a mechanic/technician but I would start by checking fuse # 18 in the fuse panel . Fuse # 18 is a 25 amp fuse for your power door lock relays The fuse panel is on the driver's end of the dash , the cover for the fuse panel is visible with the driver's door open
There is a 5 amp fuse in the upper right corner of the fuse panel by the drivers side left knee. I believe it is fuse #13. This fuse provides power to the dash instrument cluster.
Most likely cause would be a blown fuse.
Most likely it would be a blown fuse in the fuse block.
you may need to replace the flasher relay it should be in the fuse panel
It could be the fuse. See the related question.
If they both stopped working at the same time, check your fuse for it. The fuse should be labeled on the fuse panel cover, not exactly sure of it's location. If the fuse is good, check the switch with a test light, or voltmeter.
Check fuse panel for blown fuse.
