It would disintegrate and the pieces would fly off into space.
Nothing will happen because of the gravity
Earth will have day on one side and night on the other and everyone will die.
It would effect the earth's electromagnetic field as it is the spinning of the earth's core that creates the field.
Stoped rotating. A day would take a year. Perpendicular. There would be no seasons.
then their is na day and night and time willbe stop
then their is na day and night and time willbe stop
The season progression would reverse.
I'm sure it would effect the earth's electromagnetic field as it is the spinning of the earth's core that creates the field.
A day passes-it does that every day.
Day and night changes the earth the earth makes it happen by rotating the earth rotates and it turns day or nightexample: you live in Arizona and when its day time theres light then as the earth moves it turns night time.Day and night changes the earth the earth makes it happen by rotating the earth rotates and it turns day or nightexample: you live in Arizona and when its day time theres light then as the earth moves it turns night time.
If an impact caused the earth to stop rotating it would have already caused damage. For example: If a meteor hit the earth it would crack the earth into pieces, therefore we would be frozen in the darkness for half a year and toasted from the sun the other half.
The day/night cycle results from the Earth rotating.
