This is what happened to my dog. He is a 90 lb. Lab. So he is big and I did not think any thing of it. A few hours after it happened he started dry heaving and breathing heavily as if there was something stuck in his throat. We knew something was wrong. His coordination was off so we took him to the emergency vet hospital. They took his blood pressure twice and each time it was 75/26. His heart rate was over 220 beats per minute. His heart was tachycardia ..plus their potassium level gets really low due to the poisoning. They kept him overnight and gave him IV fluids with potassium and beta blockers to bring down the heart rate. My lab could of died. Do not take this lightly! Get help immediately!
