If a person were drunk and disturbing the peace, things might get bad real fast. If the authorities are called, he could get arrested for disturbing the peace, being drunk in public or both. There may be added charges as well, depending on how out of hand things get.
If you were in your front yard, you would certainly satisfy the portion of the law about being "in public." However, if you weren't disturbing the peace, the chances of your coming to the attention of law enforcement are VERY slim.
It would go CRAZY!!!!

They would die of kidney failure.
That would depend on how angry the couple gets.

A charge of disturbing the peace would have to be negotiated between arresting officer, prosecuting attorney and your legal advisor.
It will depend on the specific classification of the crime in question. In this case it is probably a midemeanor and in Massachusetts that would be six years.
No you cannot. This would be known as "Disturbing the Peace" and you would arrested. You might even earn a "Disorderly Conduct" charge as well.
People would not have peace and security in Rome today propbably
Probably a disturbing the peace charge or it's equivalent, depending on where you live. I'm sure this would follow a stern warning.
