Earth would stay the same
Earth would stay the same
If there were absolutely no gravitational force acting on the moon, it would no longer be held in orbit around the Earth and would drift off into space.
If only inertia were acting on Earth, the planet would continue in its current state of motion in a straight line at a constant speed. It would not experience any acceleration or changes in direction. The absence of other forces, such as gravity, would cause Earth to move in a linear motion indefinitely until acted upon by an external force.
ha ha well nothing would happen because there was no life on earth.
If gravity were not a force between Earth and the sun, Earth would move in a straight line tangential to its orbit instead of orbiting around the sun. This would cause Earth to drift off into space, no longer held in orbit by the sun's gravitational pull.
the earth would be destroyed
If gravity acting on the Moon became much stronger than inertia, the Moon's orbit around Earth would be significantly altered. It could potentially be pulled closer to Earth, affecting tides and possibly leading to a collision with our planet.
No; gravity will continue acting on your body. If there was no force acting on your body while in space (let's say an orbiting satellite), the satellite would fly out of Earth's orbit and just wander off forever, but that doesn't happen - so gravity has to be acting on the satellite and your body as well!
we would be dead
you would be melted
earth would no longer exist
