When people argue/conflict
Moses' childhood is not described much in the Bible, although popular retellings often cast him as a playmate the Pharaoh with whom he would eventually argue for the freedom of the Hebrews. (In most retellings, this Pharaoh-to-be was Ramses II.)
Pyramids were the spiritual threshhold of the pharaohs. These monuments were the final resting place for the pharoh's body, while his soul passed on to the Afterlife. Many historians argue of the main importance of these vessels, but my opinion is that the hold a place in the hearts of the inhabitants of Egypt because they are living history for them to observe today. The Ancient Egyptians belived that having a Great pyramid made you immortal in the afterlife.
Homer was a poet and storyteller, not a philosopher - his role was entertainment.
Coz if
Egypt controls a trade route that is important to the United States and other nations.
Islam, Holy Roman Empire, Hebrews, Egypt, Iran. One could argue others but those are the main ones.
One could argue two different choices: Thucydides or Herodotus. Both men were Greek historians in ancient Greece.
Historians argue about how ancient people made fire. No one is certain, but they could have used a bow drill or flint. They knew about flint because flint mines have been found that are several thousands of years old. Creating a spark with flint is possible. Considering that there are numerous theories on how the pyramids were built fire is just another question.
Argue about what. Be more specific.
Cakes of various sort were eaten in fairly ancient times. Archaeologists would argue overwhich peoples first baked them.
It depends on how you define this. Most Egyptians will argue that independence only came to Egypt when the monarchy was overthrown in 23 July 1952 because the nominally independent Egyptian monarchy was still heavily influenced by the British. Officially, however, Egypt was free of direct British control as of 28 February 1922.
