Well I guess you would have drunk a beer a week after having your tongue pierced. Seriously this whole beer and yeast infection thing is ridiculous if the yeast were still active in the beer they would never be able to bottle it because the tops would be popping off the bottles. Besides that it's the wrong yeast to cause and infection in the first place. We ask you to ease off drinking because it leads to showing off a new piercing and stressing the tongue too much.

I got my tongue pierced over a week ago and my friend got her's a year before me. She drank on the third night after her piercing, and the swelling on her tongue went down. I also did the same, and swelling also went down. Just be careful, cause when you drink beer that early after piercing it, the tongue will tingle from the carbonation. My tongue ring is almost completely healed now.
