If you would remove a crocodile from a food web then species would die out as they are not getting the certain source of food however; there could be an increase of certain types of species as they will no longer have that predator in the food chain. So the prey will survive.
Apart from no longer existing, the other creatures it preys on for food would increase in population - see the link below.

It would perhaps disrupt the 'food chain' a bit (although the American Alligators would compensate for this), but not really. However, it would be a shame to lose another species of crocodile when so many are becoming extinct...
