∙ 12y agoGolgi bodies are something like posts offices of the cells.They distribute proteins to their destinations and they provide vesicles for transport.So if they did not have Golgi bodies the manufactured proteins would just float aimlessly into the cells and not get to their destinations.
Moreover,Golgi bodies secrete mucus to clean and lubricate the organ its a part of.So if the cells did not have them the organ would prabably dry up and not function properly and be prone to infection.
Futhermore,proteins produced by the ribosomes would not know where to go.Complex sugar wont be converted to simple sugars and formation of lysosomes would not happen.
