High tides would be smaller and low tides would be bigger, but would still occur.
The cause of the tides is the gravitational attraction between the earth and moon, and to a lesser extent, between the earth and sun. If the moon were further from the earth, its gravitational attraction would be less strong, and its effect on the earth's liquid envelope would be correspondingly less.
This is impossible but, the earth would keep spinning for a while but would be swirling further and further away from its neighbouring planets and we would freeze immediately. The moon would probably slow to but as the earths gravity weakens, the moon would drift away from us.
Because it's further away for the epicenter
it really depends on how far it goes back if its little bit i guess it is alright
The shadow would become larger and less defined as the screen is moved further away from the bulb. This is because the light rays from the bulb spread out further apart as the distance increases, resulting in a larger, more diffuse shadow.
Further away from the equator, they'd get more pronounced. A bigger area would never get night during summer, and never day during winter.
if it was any closer we would burn and if it was any further away we would freeze, so God put it in a perfect spot so that that wouldn't happen.
You would be 313,000 miles away, which is further than the Moon is from Earth.
to age slower- if you live on top of Mount Everest you age slower because you are further away to the earths core.
she would no longer be a run away!!
If the object is moved further away from the pinhole, the image would become smaller and dimmer as it is projected onto the screen or surface. The image would also become more focused since light rays from different parts of the object have to travel a longer distance to converge at the pinhole, resulting in a sharper image.
Seasons occur because the earths axis is 23.5˚ of the suns, resulting in one half of the year, the Southern Hemisphere is further away (winter) and the northern hemisphere is closer (summer) and vise verser. Countries around the equator remain quite consistent in temperature.
An alien life form would probably assess the earths atmopheric conditions and confirm all of the parameters it may have deduced from further away in space. It would then wait in the spaceship and make a few observations on what threats there might be in terms of other life forms. Once this is done the alien may then slowly venture out, away from its spacecraft.
