If the ozone was being made at faster rate, nothing would happen. The UV would control that rate.
If the ozone cycle makes it at regular pace. Right now, the destruction is at faster rate.
The ozone layer present in the stratospheric region of the atmosphere is being destroyed by certain chemicals. These chemicals are CFCs.
I is the differential between the temperature and moisture content of the object being dried and the surrounding atmosphere in which it is located. The drier and hotter the atmosphere the faster something will dry.
Today the Earth's atmosphere is being destroyed by all the pollution by cars and power plants.
If the ozone is destroyed, various things happen. It can cause skin cancer, cataract, floods etc.
Animals will loose their home and try to survive , most likely they wont.
In hemolytic anemia, the red blood cells are destroyed faster than the bone marrow replaces them.
Mainly by humans polluting atmosphere and by global warming we caused
the life will be finished.
If the soil becomes used up or destroyed there will be food being produced. Another issue is that water will not stay in the soil to the roots of the plants if the soil is destroyed.
Then the whole entire earth can end up being destroyed.
The Ozone in the atmosphere is created by sunlight high in the earths atmosphere. It is destroyed naturally with time so there is a balance of Ozone in the upper atmosphere. However certain man made chemicals that we have put into the atmosphere destroy the Ozone faster and the whole Ozone level all round the earth is depleted, letting more UV radiation through to the Earth's surface. This global Ozone depletion results in holes at the poles because if you think about it for 6 months of the year the poles are not exposed to sunlight and thus no 'new' Ozone is being created to replace that which the man made chemicals have destroyed.
