If the moon were to be destroyed there would still be tides. This would be because of the sun still being in assistance and affecting the tides.
If there were no tides, Earth wouldn't be the same
Tides would become stronger.
Tides would become stronger.
the tides and was would go ballistic and there would be tsunamis everywhere and lots of us would die
High tides wouldn't be as high and low tides wouldn't be as low.
we would have no tides and night would be pitch black
There would be one less form of erosion on earth.
Then there would be no nice full moons. The tides would also be quite a bit weaker (we would still have tides due to the Sun's gravity).
If the Moon were to move further away from Earth, the strength of its gravitational pull would diminish, leading to weaker tides. This would result in less pronounced high and low tides, causing a reduction in tidal range. Additionally, the timing of tides might change, as the Moon's influence on Earth's rotation and gravitational effects would be altered. Overall, the tidal patterns would become less dynamic and more predictable.
It would be brighter then just a moon, and tides would be different.
Negligible gravity, no tides, no atmosphere, no life
