The Battle of Britain was Germany's effort to gain control of the skies over Britain and the English Channel. This was a necessary prerequisite before the Germans could safely send their invasion fleet across the Channel to invade England. The plan for the invasion was called Operation Sea Lion, and preparations were well in hand. But the German Air Force did not win the Battle, meaning they failed to gain air supremacy over England. So the invasion plans were postponed, then canceled.
If he wasnt fixed, he would run off looking for a female. (This happend too my dog, make sure too get them fixed)
Battle of Britain
Because if they didn't, the Germans would have control of all the air space and this would make Britain have a massive disadvantage.
The Battle of Britain was an air battle and had no use for tanks unless they were used to subdue downed German pilots which would be a bad use for a tank.
Choosing the most important World War II battle out of the group of El Alamein, Stalingrad, the Battle of Britain, the Battle of the Atlantic, and D-Day is not easy. The Battle of Britain is arguably the most important, however, because without Great Britain's success in it, none of the other battles would have taken place; moreover, Germany's might would have grown terrifyingly, as a result.
Disappointed.
it could have been prevented if Japan wasnt on Adolf Hitler side
Penultimatly it would have been Sir Winston Churchill.
they wasnt sure what would happen if they would have gone
The Royal Air Force fighter pilots. Without them, the battle would have been lost.
If Britain lost the Battle of Britain, they would have lost air space control and made it much easier to be invaded by Nazi Germany. This later gave a frim base from which to launch the D-Day invasion - if Britain had been lost there would have been no base from which to launch D-Day
Significant for Great Britain, the war was not global yet as the US was not in it; and Germany would not invade Britain since they did not control the air.
