There wouldn't be any uniqueness that separates an individual with the crowd. Everyone would wear the same thing and it'll just be this one giant private school wanna be world. Then again a world with out fashion would mean everybody would spend less on the stuff that would be "fashionable" and more on things that are important like educational stuff.

Fashion is not only concerned to Clothes. it could be anything that in trend like shoes, other wearable accessories that suits you is fashion.

To show what we would like to use to express our selves in clothes. Clothes say a lot about you. So the main purpose of fashion is so we can express our selves in our very own way, byt still the same.
What qualifications would you need for a Fashion Designer?
Well I would say a desire to design and a eye for creativity and trends for sure but also attending a fashion college will go a LONG way and I'm sure a lot of fashion design jobs require that you have a degree from a fashion college. If you're researching fashion colleges, look into FIDM. I have friends who graduated from that school and they really loved it and told me that FIDM has a very well known fashion design program and that a lot of famous fashion designers graduated from that school. Fashion planning is like,say if your having a fashion show and your have to plan it that would be called Fashion planning or if your a fashion designer you would need to plan the clothes.Anything that is involved with fashion and you have to plan for it that would be called Fashion Planning.

Well I would think it would be difficult for someone to try to get into the fashion designing without any formal training. There are schools out there such as FIDM/The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising who specialize in careers in the fashion industry and even offer Fashion Design as a major. Many famous fashion designers started out at FIDM and really benefited from their education there and made awesome connections within the fashion industry that led to jobs! If you have talent, drive and are passionate about fashion, then it sounds like you have what it takes to be a fashion designer.
