Well, life would simply slow down without the car. For instance, it would be a pain to walk or ride your bicycle to somewhere very far away from your humble aboad. If we lived without the car, people would also try to live next to their families' homes close by. Not to mention you would have to find a job near you, you wouldn't want to get fired for being 5 minutes late on your job. But I'm glad we have cars, it makes humanity's lives easier by a long distance.
Life would go on the exact same because I do not know this person... :)
life would be very complicated without the laser we would have to store our information on paper and in files, we would have to look through possibly thousands of files just to find one piece of information, without the laser we would still live in what i would classify as the "old days"

Seriously? The Ferris wheel is not such an integral part of everyday life that there would be any noticeable impact whatsoever. Unless, of course, you're a Ferris wheel operator, in which case I guess you'd have to find another job.
Thay can go there whole life without a wheel but a wheel is a fantastic way for it to burn off energy and stop it getting fat and lazey.
