could be lots of things but have you changed you fuel filter lately?
on a 2001 silverado you clear the message center by turn the ignition to the on position and pressing the gas pedel all the way to the floor 5 times in 5 seconds
you turn the ignition key just to on and hit the gas pedal 3 times in succession then the oil light should flash 5 times and it will be reset after that...
fuel pump or fuel filter fuel pump is in the tank
Turn the key on then push the gas pedal to the floor 3 times. Then turn key off and then start engine.
On my 2003 silverado I turn the key to the on position and press the gas pedel all the way to the floor 3 times. On the dash it will pop up the message "change oil" then it will pop up the message "oil life rest".

my truck leaked as well. I had to take it back several times. It was a bad bead in the front of the cab. they had to do a water test on the truck to find it.
To reset the oil change light on a 2015 Chevy Silverado after changing the oil, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Press the gas pedal three times fully within five seconds. Then, turn off the ignition. When you start the engine again, the oil change light should be reset.

The neutral safety relay switch was bad. Replaced it and works fine.
