i have a 1996 Buick century and i resolved my problem for $23. I went to C.A.P and purchased "EZ Chill auto air conditioning R-134a refrigerant plus oil" Filled my air conditioning port to the correct psi according to the guage( that comes with it) and my air conditioner was working full blast. It was alot cheaper than getting my freon filled by an auto place, which can cost you about $80-$90.
tad bit low on freon.
if its blowing, but not blowing cold its low on coolant. it takes r134a.
Low refrigerant defective pressure switch
because you need to keep warm when it is winter and other times when it it cold
yes
It doesn't really blow it out it just warms the cold air.
Check temperature control cable for binding.
Low refrigerant causing compressor not to start?
The blower motor could be shot, or a fuse could be bad. A wire could be disconnected.
The most typical problem is the expansion valve for the rear is bad. another possibilty would be the evaporator in the rear is clogged up but that's not common.
First, look at the obvious things. Is the a/c actually running. If it is and the a/c bely is properly tightened, you may need to add the chemical coolant to the system.
The a/c - heater controller is out...........
