Many thing would make local parks better. A few I will name are:
a. A rec center that will rent out things like footballs, Baseball sets, and such cheaply to the locals and tourists.
b. A football field, baseball field, etc, etc.
c. A drink shack or something of the like.
d. A daycare or camp of some sort.
e. More benches for people to relax on.

Hopefully you would have done your homework and found out about your new location. Make sure the preteen has the things they like with them. Show them where the local mall, stores, restaurants, and parks are in their new location.
