What you could do is take a piece of paper and glue it over your mistake or if you have white nail polish handy you could use the nail polish lightly over your mistake

i always add another coat then wipe off with paper towel before it dries.
Should be able too. Most nail polish removers contain acetone and that would remove all sorts or nail polish,
You will need oil free nail polish remover, a couple of paper towles or a face washer. Place the paper towel underneath the stain, saturate some of the other paper towel or face washer with remover and dab at the stain.
