The firing order for a 1991 Pontiac Transport, which typically has a 3.1L V6 engine, is 1-2-3-4-5-6. This means that the cylinders fire in that sequence, starting with cylinder 1. It's important to ensure that the ignition system and spark plug wires are connected in this order for optimal engine performance.
