Not physically ( no battlefields) , but New Hampshire did send troops to fight.
I suppose Hawaii since this question was listed in WW2. I would have thought it was Civil War question if not for the category. The State with the most battlefields is Alaska. The Aleutian islands campaign. A Japanese submarine shelled the California coast (something like 3 shells) but there was no battle.
My understanding is that the telegraph terminal was in the War Department office and that Lincoln would go there to get up-to-date reports.
