The Preamble is not an enforceable part of the Constitution.
A preamble is to introduce and shortly explain what a constitution or document is about. Without it, you'd have to read the whole thing, which would bore many people.

Although, the constitution is many years old The Constitution is still the basis of government because no one has successfully rebelled against. The constitution was made So that America should have basic guide lines that all citizens had to follow. No country can be run without order. The constitution gives order and rules for the citizens and government to follow. Without the constitution there would be nothing to state how government should be chosen and how it should work, and nothing for the citizens to follow.
because civics was to stupid to answer this
The theory that best matches the preamble to the U.S. constitution is the will of the people. The preamble refortified the fact that the constitution was written by and for the people. This means the constitution continues to be a living document, since it governs the will of an entire nation. Without a democratic form of government, however, the constitution would simply be null and void.
It gives America all their rights as citizens. Freedom of speech, right to remain silent (pleading the fifth) and more. Without the constitution and bill of rights, we would not have any rights and the government would easily tear us apart.

An excellent example of a preamble would be the the Preamble to the US Constitution . . . See below link:
The Preamble does nothing. The Articles of the Constitution set up the framework of the US government and its relations to the states and they are the supreme law of the land as amended from time to time. The Preamble has no such effect, because it is merely an introductory paragraph. At best it can be looked to as a source of guidance in interpreting the Articles of the Constitution, but that is it.
The word Preamble means:an introductory statement; preface; introduction. The Preamble to the United States Constitution is a brief introductory statement of the Constitution's fundamental purposes and guiding principles. It states in general terms, and courts have referred to it as reliable evidence of, the Founding Fathers' intentions regarding the Constitution's meaning and what they hoped the Constitution would achieve.
