A picture of a young boy representing the kids and inside of him, draw some sort of monster. Because there is no real monster, it's just in their head/imagination.
In Chapter 13 of "Lord of the Flies," Simon is mistaken for the beast and is brutally killed by the other boys during a frenzied tribal dance. The boys, consumed by fear and chaos, descend further into savagery and darkness. This pivotal event marks a turning point in the novel as the boys' civilization completely collapses and they spiral into a state of anarchy and violence.
There are actually three littluns who mention the beast during assemblies. The littlun with the mulberry coloured birthmark on his face spoke at the second assembly. Piggy had to kneel next to him and relay what he was saying to the rest of the boys. He mentioned seeing a snake-thing and asked what they were going to do about it and whether it would return the next night. In chapter 5:Beast from Water two littluns also spoke about the beast. Phil spoke confidently of seeing something big and horrid in the trees. The littlun Percival cried and his words were relayed to the other boys by Piggy and by Jack. He told the boys that the beast came out of the sea.
Ralph tells Piggy to stay at the campsite when the rest of the biguns go in search of the beast. He does this because he feels that the littluns need protection and reassurance now that they know there may really be a beast. Ralph also realises that Piggy, with only one lens in his spectacles and his asthma would be a liability in their hunt.
Horse flies don't like water because if they went in water it would kill them and horse flies prefer blood.
Jack thinks that castle rock would make a good fort. He finds a trickle of running water under which he says, a coconut shell could be placed. Jack also though that the overhanging rock ledge would provide shelter and that the approach to castle rock, across a narrow causeway of rock would be easy to defend against atatckers or the beast, especially by using the boulders on top of the cliff as weapons.
I would say it foreshadows that this book is going to be horrible, but the title did a sufficent job of that
wolverine would beat beast no questions asked.
Yes I'm sure she would if she loved him.. !!
The identical twin brothers are called Sam and Eric, or Samneric for short, not Simon and Eric. In chapter 6: Beast From air Samneric simultaneously describe the beast, and I quote.... "It was furry. There was something moving behind its head--wings. the beast moved too---" "that was awful. It kind of sat up---" "There were eyes---" "Teeth---" "Claws--" "The beast followed us---" "I saw it slinking behind the trees---"
At the assembly in "Lord of the Flies," a few littluns speak up, including Percival Wemys Madison and Phil. Percival shares his name and address, while Phil talks about a "beastie" he has seen on the island.
Shippuuden episode 111 is a filler episode. It's not in the original manga.
If you read chapter nine of your text for SCI 241 you would know the answer.
