if hes a teenager/young adult then:

a game for his ps3, xbox (if he has one obv)

DVDs of his favourite films

burn a Cd of his favourite tunes

if he likes computers then a mouse-pad/mouse/PC game

a hoody

trainers

if he smokes, an engraved lighter, an ashtray

if he loves to write then a personalized pen

a watch

if he likes sports: football, football shirt, darts/darts board, playing cards, Rugby shirt/ball, goggles (if hes a swimmer) etc

a wallet

chocolate/sweets

Or a big Christmas stocking filled with bits and bobs like: sweets, gadgets, pair of gloves/hat, keyring, wallet, earphones, joke presents (santa hat, reindeer ears), a photo frame with a picture of you together, etc
