Ford didnt make a Fusion till 2006.
pull off the cover and unscrew the wires. twist red and white together. if it turns on, your furnace still works and your thermostat is bad(if it didnt work previously)
Yes a bad thermostat would cause overheating in any car. A thermostat regulates the temperature.
Must be sticking, replace the thermostat.
no, the thermostat would have nothing to do with the car not starting.
The primary cause of a thermostat malfunction is corrosion. It prevents the thermostat from opening and closing as it normally would.
it the thermostat you should get it checked out because mine was doing that an it was running hot an i didnt know it because there was no steam
I would start with checking your thermostat and thermostat housing. See if its regulating. If it is not replace the thermostat.
Follow the top radiator hose, to where it intersects with the motor. This would be the thermostat housing. Remove this, and the thermostat will be exposed.
I have only water on my Nissa Altima and the water does not evaporate. It would be a good idea to replace the thermostat. I was having problems with my car overheathing and replcing the thermostat fixed the problem.
i would like to know where is the thermostat on a 2002 Honda located
