it depends on the plant but i would say about the size of a large jar if your doing a school ecosystem project. if you are planting in a garden or yard i would put it were an animal could not get to and away froim Rhodes or curbs. if you are doing a school project don't put 2 many plants in ecspecially if you are putting in a small animal i would ay 2 plants at least and 3 most

An investigatory project is a planned experiment for the purposes of research. An investigatory project about plants would be to set up a controlled experiment to see which color of light that plants grow best in.

I contemplated doing the project myself, but it would have taken too long.
Advantages and Disadvantages Advantages: You get to work a lot in nature. You can learn about many different plants. You also go to many different places to study about plants. Disadvantages: You have to work many hours. You have to put in a lot of effort. While you are working with plants, you will have to put up with many insect bites. This may not be the best answer but this is what I put in my school project.
