the only one I know of is the model 66. Has plastic stock and it covers part of the barrel.
The older autoloaders, had no stainless.
No that is wrong, Chrome. The Apache Black 66 & 76 were made with Chrome barrel and receiver.
Chrome is more durable and cheaper than stainless steel.
Stainless steel
stainless is better.
the chrome light socket is just plated in chrome, it can wear off and possibly rust stainless steel never rusts and is far more durable
chrome
most often a firearm's barrel will be made with high quality steel. In some special cases the barrel will be chrome lined or will be made with stainless steel. both of which are used to prevent corrosion, expand the life of the firearm's barrel and to make cleaning easier.
Use Flitz Stainless Steel & Chrome Cleaner With Degreaser.
all equipments made up of stainless steel contain chrome.
