I have an old Hohner Harmonica "Song Band" Tremolo Tuning but not sure of date. JP.
Its just a brand of harmonica. Parrots don't play it. It has sixteen holes. Although its slightly cheap. I find it a nice harmonica
no you dont strum a harmonica you blow through the holes so it vibrates and makes a sound
Harmonica.
The harmonica makes sounds through vibrations of a thin metal 'reed' in each of the holes. This makes it a member of the reed family.
There are several different types of harmonicas. A 12 hole chromatic harmonica has 48 tones in 3 different octave ranges. However a typical harmonica has 4 holes for each octave.
A Harmonica has one reed for each hole it has. For example, a Diatonic Harmonica has ten holes, ten pitches, and thus ten reeds. Longer reeds have lower pitches. The reeds tend to be metal. If a reed bends, the corresponding pitch will not work.
It's about the size of a large snicker bar, except it's a little flatter, metal wraps the plastic. There are small rectangular holes on one side of the harmonica to where you blow into.
No. The Harmonica is a small instrument and is blown through, and the harp is a large instrument that is held between the legs and plucked. The other instrument that is played with mouth is the Jews Harp this is often confused with the Harmonica
Hohner harmonicas. He has his own web site; http://www.buddygreene.com/, where he goes into great detail about how he re-tunes his instruments or has them done by someone else. I asked the performer through his web site contact and was given this reply: "The first song of the Classical Medley is Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach, played in 1st position (key of C).The second song is based on Mozart's Sonata in C, Movement 1 (although here it is played in the key of G, with lots of bending). The third song adapted from Rossini's William Tell Overture, back in 1st position (key of C) with some high blow bends at the end. I played a C diatonic harmonica, probably a Meisterklasse or Golden Melody, both by Hohner" Bending is done by how hard or soft the player inhales or exhales across the reeds of the instrument while using their tongue to cover specific holes or by cupping the tongue while inhaling or use of the throat to achieve the note desired. This is difficult and hard to master.
i have the same but the number on the box is 8212, i want to know the price if i were to sell it
You have to keep going through the holes and one will lead to a opening go through that and you will go to the indigo plateau where elite 4 is
