Dan Donegan is one of the pioneers of the band. He formed the band with drummer, Mike Wengren, bassist, Steve "fuzz" Kmak and frontman, Erich Awalt. The band was originally named Brawl. So he entered the band in 1994 when he formed it. Disturbed was formed in 1996 when they hired current frontman, David Draiman, who suggested the name change to Disturbed.
