Pluto has five moons, and they are: - Charon - Hydra - P5 - Nix - P4
nix hydra P5 P4 and charon
Pluto is not a moon, it's a dwarf planet. It has five moons which are Charon, Hydra, P5, Nix and P4.
see 'why was Pluto removed from the planetary system? '
The planet Pluto has five known 'moons': Charon, Nix, Hydra, P4, and P5. See more information at the related Wikipedia link listed below:
The answer will depend on what p5 is!
p5 cannot be simplified.
As of 2012, it was up to 5 moons - S/2012 (134340)1, or P5, was given the name Styx. Pluto and Charon may have formed due to a large collision between two protoplanets, which also created the other 4 small moons of Pluto, which gradually drifted farther from the planet.
The IBM p5 server was officially withdrawn from the market on May 29, 2009. It has since been replaced with a newer and model and more efficient server.
Actually, to date, Pluto have 5 natural satellites: Charon, Nix, Hydra, P4 and P5 Charon is approx. half the size of Pluto, and is discussed to be a binary planetary system and not a normal Planet/moon relation. Nix and Hydra are between 50-150 km wide, there Charon is 1200 km. P4 was first seen in July 2011 and is calculated to be between 13-34 km wide. P5 was discovered July 2012 and is 10-25 km wide, as with P4, so new that there is no name for it yet.
there has not been a landing on pluto but will be in 2015
Pluto has an orbital period that is equal to 90,588 Earth days. As such, one year on Pluto is equal to about 248 years here in Earth.
