Call of Duty is a first-person and third-person shooter computer/video game seriesfranchise. The series began on the PC, and later expanded to consoles and handhelds. Several spin-off games have also been released. The earlier games in the series are set primarily in World War II; beginning with Modern Warfare, which is set in modern times, the series has shifted focus away from World War II. Modern Warfare was followed by Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Black Ops (released November 2010) takes place in the Cold War, while Modern Warfare 3 (released November 2011) takes place in the near-future setting. Black Ops 2 (Released November 13, 2012) takes place in the year 2025.

No they will not. If you have been watching the releases they are making the games for Nintendo DS. Every November a new call of duty series game is released for the Nintendo DS with the last one being Call of Duty Black Ops, Call of Duty Modern Warfare Mobilized came the year before, Call of Duty World at War was in 2008, They even released a Nintendo DS Call of Duty 4 in November 2007 when even the Nintendo Wii didn't get a Can of Duty series game

If you actually count the games most of the numbers people use are off Call of Duty World at War final Fronts and Call of Duty Wold at War have both been called COD 5. With COD 6 you get 3 new titles Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 plus the Nintendo Games Call of Duty Modern Warfare Mobilized and Call of Duty Black Ops all released November 2009 When Call of Duty Black Ops was released in November 2010 some people have still called it COD 7 Then Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 to be released in November 2011 has already been called COD 8. So COD 9 will be November 2012 and I imagine people will also start calling it Black Ops 2 sometime soon.

Killzone 2 has very good graphics and I think that is is made for the experienced first person shooter. Call of duty 4 is probably one of the best shooter game that I have ever played. The Call of duty series is one of the only series that is enjoyed by experienced and non-experienced players. Another point is that Call of duty 4 is (I think) the best online game on the PS3 or the X-Box 360. I have had Call of duty 4 since I got the PS3 a year ago and alough Call of duty 5 has come out I still play Call of duty 4 online. So I would say that Call of duty 4 is the best but killzone 2 is still a very good game
