Cheetahs slowly became a separate species a long, long, long, long, hugely long time before numbering of years was invented. At that, no animal can be said to have suddenly 'started' in so short a time as a year.

How many cheetahs decrease each year if you have a population of 1750 cheetahs that decrease by 11 percent each year. what wll the population be in ten years round your answer to the nearest whole n?

To find the annual decrease, calculate 11% of 1750, which is approximately 192.5 cheetahs. Therefore, the population decreases by about 193 cheetahs each year. To find the population in ten years, you can use the formula for exponential decay: ( P = P_0 \times (1 - r)^t ), where ( P_0 = 1750 ), ( r = 0.11 ), and ( t = 10 ). This results in a population of about 513 cheetahs after ten years, rounded to the nearest whole number.

When do cheetahs mate?

Cheetahs breed throughout the year; they are induced ovulators. Females are polyoestrus – they have an oestrus ("heat") cycle every 12 days (this can vary from 10 to 20 days), each oestrus lasting one to three days.

No, Cheetahs are not cannibals. Female cheetahs protect their cubs with their life. They defend them with all their strength. In spite of their efforts nearly 75% of the cubs die within the first one year. However, they would easily hunt a Gazelle or Impala Fawn
